Neil Alston – Business Development Manager

Neil has worked for over 30 years in the coal mining industry in a variety of roles including Mining Engineer, Technical Services Manager, Mine Manager and consultant. His interest in strata control was developed during his early career at Angus Place Colliery where he was responsible for development of innovative support systems. He commenced as Business Development Manager for WMS in July 2017. Neil provides technical, management and business capabilities to WMS and is responsible for company strategy and new product development. He holds BE (Mining) Hons 1, ME (Mining), MBA (with Merit), NSW Coal Mine Manager qualifications and is a member of AusIMM, MMAA and BBUGS.
